We hope that you will feel welcome and comfortable in our church services. Since every church is unique we want you to know what to expect before you walk through the door.
What is your worship service like?
Our worship services are meant to be times of both joyfulness as we celebrate the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ together, but also times of reverence and honor for the God whom we gather to worship. These services are intentional to include singing, prayer, reading the Scriptures, and the explanation and application of the Word of God with a call to response.
Our Sunday Morning service is usually around 75 minutes long (from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm), with a significant part of that time given to the preaching of God’s Word. Our preaching is expository – meaning we are usually working our way through the Bible together on Sunday mornings, passage by passage. We also give a significant emphasis in every worship service to music and singing about God and to God in worship. Our worship songs are songs of adoration, confession, rejoicing and faith that reminds us of the truths of God and His Word. The style of our worship music blends newer Christian songs with older, more traditional hymns.
What is Sunday School like?
Sunday school is a time to study the Bible together in smaller groups. There are age appropriate classes for children and youth, and various classes for adults. These classes are teacher-led and more discussion oriented. Your input and questions during these classes are welcomed, but you are also welcome to simply come and learn. Sunday School classes are a great way to get to know and get connected to our church.
